The Professional Staff
The professional staff of The Centre for Family Beginnings recognizes the importance of the family unit for the growth, development and wellbeing of each of its members. Healthcare during the time surrounding childbirth must support and promote family unity. Healthcare providers must be sensitive to the specific physical, psychological, emotional, social, cultural, economic and educational needs of each childbearing family.
Using a family-centered approach, we strive to meet these needs in the most supportive, nurturing environment possible. It is within this environment that safe, individualized care shall be provided to all families. A focus of this care shall be to empower family members to make optimal choices based on their personal needs. This can best be accomplished through a joint decision-making process between the family and healthcare providers.
We believe that the birth of a child is an intensely personal and natural experience and that this experience can occur within a satisfying emotional atmosphere that is consistent with safe and preventive care. Meet the pediatricians on staff.
Physicians are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of the hospital.
