Surgeons at Wellington Regional perform arthroscopic procedures to treat shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle conditions.

Total hip replacements (in which diseased cartilage and bone of the hip joint is surgically replaced with artificial materials) are most commonly used to treat progressively severe arthritis in the hip joint.
