Medical School: Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine

"Since the start of my medical school career, I knew that I ultimately wanted to practice medicine in South Florida, not only due to the beauty of the location, but also because it would allow me to be close to my family.

I was fortunate to spend a large portion of my fourth year of medical school at Wellington Regional Medical Center, which provided me the opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the close working relationships between residents and attending physicians, as well as the supportive learning atmosphere, which was exactly what I was looking for in an Internal Medicine Residency Program. I appreciated the warmth and hospitality shown to me as a visiting medical student by the GME staff, residents, and attending physicians. It was clear that the WRMC Internal Medicine Residency Program included an excellent team of close-knit, well-rounded physicians.

I envision myself working with medical students and physicians in a welcoming educational environment, and WRMC absolutely upholds these standards.

Ultimately, I desire to deliver the highest quality patient care reliant upon current, evidence-based practice coupled with compassionate concern for each patient, while embracing the importance of patient and family centered healthcare. I will strive to treat each patient with the utmost respect and ensure whole person care of mind, body, and spirit.

I strongly feel that the WRMC Internal Medicine Program will provide me with the training to achieve these goals, including my interest in a future Cardiology fellowship."
