Rolando Santisteban Sosa, DO

Medical School: Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Blacksburg, VA

"My hometown is Miami, Florida. My future career plan is to become a hospitalist.

I selected the residency program at WRMC because the program offered a tremendous diversity of clinical cases and patients balanced with good support from the teaching faculty. The program offered the exposure that I was looking for and the independence to make my own clinical decisions. It also offered the support and clinical teachings I valued as part of my training. I can see how I grow with every rotation and how the program is helping me to become the doctor that I always dreamed to be. Furthermore, I really like the atmosphere created by the upper level residents who are always willing to help, provide feedback, and guidance as we tackle clinical situations. Overall, I am proud of choosing WRMC as my hospital because it has the core values, support, and work environment that I envisioned as part of my medical training."
