Mathew Romanelli, DO

Medical School: William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine

"I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and moved to Melbourne, Florida, when I was five years old. I attended University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, majoring in Biology with a minor in business while working as a CNA at a local hospital. I completed a Master's program in Mississippi and stayed there for medical school at William Carey University.

I like to surf and play soccer, taking every opportunity to get away to any Orlando City Soccer game and head two minutes to the beach. I’ve been throughout Central and South America to surf and Asia for medical volunteer work.

I was drawn to Wellington Regional Medical Center for the fantastic faculty on staff, diversity of patient population, ideal location and an even better group of residents. On the weekends, all of the residents like to get out together to snorkel, head out on the boat or just head downtown for dinner."
